OVERVIEW

Amidst continued pandemic concerns, safety was prioritised at
all operational locations and refinery concerns were addressed
to ensure business continuity. Following the occurrence of

incidents relating to COVID-19 during the year, MSM immediately
implemented heightened SOPs and safety measures. There were
also planned and unexpected plant closures that hampered the
Group’s goal of driving MSM Johor’s yield and Utilisation Factor (UF).

MSM took the opportunity to implement total plant scheduled
maintenance, certifications and plant upgrades for higher plant
reliability and efficiency moving forward.
